CareerWins is developed and operated by Angelo Montil ("Developer," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using CareerWins ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

CareerWins is an iOS application that enables users to record professional achievements and generate career-related documents — including resume bullet points, performance review talking points, and salary negotiation correspondence — using artificial intelligence.

The App provides a free tier that includes three AI-generated documents per calendar month and three lifetime AI coaching messages. A paid Pro subscription provides unlimited document generation, unlimited AI coaching, and additional features.

CareerWins does not require account creation. User data is stored on the device and optionally synchronized via the user's personal iCloud account. Access to Pro features is determined by the user's Apple ID through the App Store.

Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's applicable terms and conditions. Users may manage or cancel their subscription at any time through the Subscriptions section of their device Settings.

The Developer does not process payments directly and does not have access to users' payment information.

The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate career documents based on the achievements and context provided by the user. This content is produced by a machine learning model and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or language that does not fully represent the user's experience.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in any professional context. AI-generated content does not constitute career advice, legal advice, or any form of professional counsel.

Users retain ownership of the content they create and the AI-generated output produced from their inputs. The Developer claims no ownership over user achievements, career data, or generated documents.

User achievements, career profile, and generated content are stored on the user's device and in their private iCloud container. The Developer does not have access to this data at rest.

When AI features are used, the selected achievements and context are transmitted to the Developer's server for processing and forwarded to Google's Gemini API. This data is used solely to generate the requested content and is not retained on the Developer's servers after the response is delivered.

Users agree not to use the App to generate content that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or intended to deceive employers, colleagues, or any other party.

Users agree not to reverse-engineer the App, attempt to access the Developer's backend services outside the App, or use automated tools to exploit or abuse the AI generation features.

The App, including its design, source code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Angelo Montil. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or any portion thereof.

Content created by users within the App — including achievements, notes, and AI-generated documents produced from user inputs — remains the property of the respective user.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Angelo Montil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, career outcomes, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Users may discontinue use of the App at any time by deleting it from their device. Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically delete user data.

The Developer reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to backend services upon detection of abuse or violation of these terms.

The Developer may update these terms periodically. When changes are material, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated and, where practicable, an in-app notice will be provided. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
